Cow-Shed created Mel's first website for her back in 2016. We have been delighted with the enquiries the original site has brought her but last year we all felt it was time for a refresh.
Cow-Shed worked with Mel to create a fresh, new website to showcase her beautiful handmade furnishings and sensational client feedback.
Peper Design updated the website design and content for Cow-Shed to hand code in html and css to ensure the website exactly matched the design and was fast and well configured for Google and other search engines. Technology moves a long way in 6 years since Mel's first site was created so we also updated the technical framework to Bootstrap 5.
Mel works on many beautiful projects and her instagram account @melaniedowninginteriors is full of stunning images of her work. We decided to incorporate her instagram account into her website, so that her portfolio is always up to date inline with IG without her having to spend time uploading new work to her website. This removed the need for a Content Management System and kept the development costs down.
